Haiku poems in honor of today's March snowfall
Snowflakes falling fast
Swirling, twirling around me
Taking in beauty
March thirteenth is here
No blooming flowers in sight
Snow covers the ground
Longing for spring now
Basking in the warm sunshine
Summer inching close
The snow wasn't welcome here either. I can't wait for warmer temperatures and more sunshine. The best part of March snow is that it doesn't last.
ReplyDeletesuch powerful pictures from so few words. Love this
ReplyDeleteYour title got my attention because I am so jealous of the people that got snow today! Although the flowers are blooming here in Missouri, I would love love love to have just one big snow this year! It sounds like you enjoyed it! Fun poems!
ReplyDeleteThe snow wasn't welcome in my world. Seems like every time all our snow melts and we have a couple of warm days, it snows again.
ReplyDeleteBut I love your poem!
I love how this poem goes from snow to spring and hints of summer coming soon.
ReplyDeleteI love your Haiku! :) It definitely resonates with me currently. Longing for spring as well.

ReplyDeletei love how you connected snow with summer!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful and I wish that I could capture the snowfall like you do. I saw it as a nuisance, when I should be looking at it as a gift.
