Day 10: Teamwork Makes the Dream Work-#SOL17

via @NobleCrossing

This afternoon, after the last dismissal bell, elementary teachers from seven elementary buildings across our district gathered together in our district's high school gym for a friendly inter-elementary staff volleyball tournament.  This 5th annual "Serve it Up" tournament benefited the charity of choice from the previous year's winner.  This year, we played on behalf of the Boys & Girls Club within our city.  While some of my colleagues may be more competitive than others, we had so much practicing and playing together as a team in preparation for today's tournament.  Our students showed up with signs and their loudest cheering voices. What a great way to end the week by bringing our schools together for some friendly competition benefiting a great cause. GO TIGERS!

  4. That is such a great way to raise money for a good cause. We do a staff vs. students game as part of a May madness event and the students love watching their teachers play against them!
